• The Pavilion at The Stanley is Colorado's Newest Events Venue

Set against the backdrop of Longs Peak and Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado’s newest destination event venue The Pavilion at The Stanley Hotel announced the opening of their $10 million-dollar building. The Pavilion offers a modern retreat atmosphere for exclusive corporate and wedding clientele.

“We designed the building with the needs of our most demanding customers in mind, with custom finishes, dedicated high-speed broadband, beautifully appointed outdoor spaces, plentiful natural light, and complete privacy,” says John Cullen, owner of The Stanley Hotel. “As with everything we offer at The Stanley, no detail is overlooked.”

The Pavilion features multiple flexible event spaces, with spectacular views of the snow-capped Rockies and a private waterfall and pond. In addition, the 5.5-ton custom glass wall opens over the pond and an available floating platform creates a stunning indoor / outdoor event space that can accommodate up to 300 seated guests.

Denver’s longest-serving caterer, Occasions Catering exclusively provides food and beverage service at The Pavilion. Executive Chef Chris Meier tailors his Colorado-centric menus to the new venue, featuring dishes like native fish and game with contemporary flavors.

As if it couldn’t get better, The Pavilion includes two immaculately detailed event rooms with classic, elegant architecture: The Aspen and The Willow. Both spaces include large outdoor balconies and overlook the private pond and stunning mountains Colorado is known for.

Food trucks may be mobile, but they aren’t going anywhere, since their popularity only seems to grow with each season. A New Jersey hotel is getting in on the fun! Along with over 18,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, Embassy Suites by Hilton in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, offers the Grain & Cane “Gastro Truck” as a fun option for a mid-meeting break or post-event dining option.

 

The family-focused, Wisconsin-based Great Wolf Lodge opened its first resort in Wisconsin Dells in 1997. Over the next two decades, it slowly expanded with more properties around the Midwest, moving into the Northeast, South, West and Canada. And this summer, the greater Chicago area will get its first resort from the brand.

 

The Meetings Industry Council (MIC) hosted 1,210 attendees at the Colorado Convention Center for the 18th Annual MIC Conference & Trade Show on March 13 and 14, 2018.

The first day of the conference included a deep dive risk management workshop for meeting professionals facilitated by Brenda Rivers from Andavo Meetings.

There was also an educational session on creating authentic, memorable and impactful event experiences, moderated by Greg Bogue, vice president of experience design from Maritz Global Events.
