Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole in Wyoming launched the summer season with a new member on its team, Emma Matilda. A 16-week-old Bernese mountain dog, Tillie, joined the Four Seasons team from Colorado in early May 5 and has been melting the hearts of guests, groups and staff ever since.

Tillie is named after the wife of William O. Owen who was the first, along with three other climbers, to ascend to the summit of Grand Teton in 1898. There is also Emma Matilda Lake in Grand Teton National Park and a trail by the same name that covers 2.7 miles. Follow Tillie’s adventures in Jackson Hole on the property's social channels and the hashtag #FSJHTillieDog.

The Four Seasons also has several new or recently new warm weather experiences that groups and individual attendees can plug into. For the second summer, Eric Orton, author of Born to Run, is presenting 90-minute form and technique running clinics at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s Rendezvous Mountain. In addition, 60- to 90-minute private guided trail runs with Orton are available. Guests can sign up directly through the Four Seasons concierge, with a 48-hour signup window required.

The Handle Bar is presenting Bourbon, BBQ & Blues every other Friday. The spotlight each time is on a new bourbon distillery and bluegrass band with a strong emphasis on local distillers and bands. Guests can dig into BBQ favorites such as house-smoked ribs, roasted chicken and pulled pork with The Handle Bar’s secret sauce.

For pure relaxation outside the meeting room, give attendees who aren’t interested in being part of the adventure set the opportunity to relish the new Exquisite Gemstone Facial, featuring handcrafted oils energetically-infused with balancing vibrations of pure aromatherapy oils and natural crystals. The experience combines three different types of oils created for Four Seasons by Epicuren: Luna Mystica, Sacred Indigo and Amour Universel. The skin therapy utilizes microcrystal exfoliation, multiple masks and custom-tailored serums, and throughout the spa experience guests receive intentional massages to bring the body into a state of complete tranquility.

Snuggling a puppy, running with a well-known author, savoring tasty BBQ and getting pampered with a unique facial sounds like a perfect way to wrap up summer in Jackson Hole!

Food trucks may be mobile, but they aren’t going anywhere, since their popularity only seems to grow with each season. A New Jersey hotel is getting in on the fun! Along with over 18,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, Embassy Suites by Hilton in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, offers the Grain & Cane “Gastro Truck” as a fun option for a mid-meeting break or post-event dining option.
