Montage Deer Valley’s Elements of Wellness provides a unique and easy way to incorporate relaxing and healthful activities into a corporate gathering or incentive trip in Park City. When booking the program as part of a stay, guests receive six “Elements” credits per day to experience their choice of spa and beauty services, fitness activities, mind-body offerings, outdoor excursions, and healthy cuisine. A spa concierge helps guests select experiences that fall in three categories: Indulge, Energize and Reconnect.

Cherry Peak Resort, the first new ski resort to be built in Utah in many years, is scheduled to open soon in northern Utah only 15 miles from Logan. Along with three triple chairlifts, Cherry Peak Resort offers several amenities such as ice skating, tubing and night skiing.

A couple of significant anniversaries this season are 75 years for the family-owned Beaver Mountain Ski Area, situated in the northeast corner of the state, and 50 years for Brian Head Resort, which started with a single chairlift in the winter of 1964-65 and now has much more extensive terrain, tubing, night skiing and more. 

Nordic Valley Resort (previously known as Wolf Mountain) was acquired in 2014 by Skyline Mountain Base, LLC and has added 700 to 800 vertical feet to the current 1,000-foot ski hill and is accessed by snowcat this winter. The first chairlift for the new terrain may be installed this summer.

Lodges at Deer Valley has introduced The Brass Tag, featuring Deer Valley inspired comfort food and specializing in brick-oven cuisine. The restaurant’s name and décor style honors Deer Valley Resort’s rich mining history as miners used brass tags hung on a board to check in and out of work in the mines. The menu features gourmet dishes such as house-cured duck and parma prosciutto flatbread, cheddar truffle chive spätzle, tandoori rubbed quail, oven-fired chimichurri chips and woodoven shrimp skillets.

On September 1, over 1,500 businesses across the country illuminated their buildings with red lights to draw attention to the devastation that the live events and performance art industries have faced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

According to a survey commissioned by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), frequent travelers feel safer when hotels adhere to AHLA's Stay Safe guidelines, which detail cleaning protocols for hotels during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

 

Through responses to bi-weekly surveys, Global Business Travel Association members have indicated that domestic busines travel is ramping up after months of struggle.
