One of the United State’s best-known destinations for spiritual vacationing, rest and renewal is Sedona, Arizona. After the many challenges of the past few years, groups who are looking to provide immersive and fulfilling excursions for meetings and incentives trips may want to consider this mountain destination with majestic red rock scenery.

L’Auberge de Sedona aims to make it easy and unique with new metaphysical programming that incorporates the resort’s serene and intimate grounds and amenities.

The programming pays homage to Sedona traditions while incorporating new innovations in metaphysical practices. From astrology to reiki, chakra and vortex knowledge, attendees and guests who have a deep understanding of the metaphysical landscape or are just curious to learn the basics will leave the property with a deeper understanding of self.

Local Sedona expert Paula Lockwood is overseeing L’Auberge de Sedona’s lineup of locally inspired classes that includes Crystal Introduction and Meditation; Sound Healing; Welcome Reading and Astrology; Introduction to Vortexes – Energy Sedona; and Introduction to Reiki, Chakra & Energy Healing. In addition to classes, guests can enjoy L’Apothecary Spa set amidst the property’s idyllic forest accompanied by the calming sounds of Oak Creek.

Meeting and event spaces range from an indoor ballroom and boardroom to outdoor lawns and terraces. Accommodations include 62 cottages, 21 lodge-style guest rooms and the five-bedroom Creekhouse.

The latest addition is the availability of Spanish-speaking guides.

Based in Boulder City, Nevada, Evolution Expeditions has been running kayak tours since 2006. Today, the outfitter offers fully customizable tours that can include hiking for groups of up to 60 guests, whether it’s a half-day break from meetings or a full day expedition.

Sheraton Dallas Hotel has introduced a new outdoor event space under its new event programming, Dare to Outdoors. The hotel’s catering team has partnered with Pacific Plaza Park, a 3.7-acre green space in Downtown Dallas. The park features a 31,950 square-foot lawn space and permanent seating, as well as night-sky friendly lights for star-watchers. Three food truck power outlets are available and standard outlets are located throughout the park.

In 1927, Hilton Hotels’ founder Conrad Hilton said, "Abilene, Texas, will be well prepared to handle large conventions and please the most fastidious visitor." Nearly 95 years later, Abilene has fulfilled this vision and is excited to welcome back the Hilton family of hotels in the heart of downtown Abilene with a recently announced DoubleTree by Hilton.
