Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino in Incline Village has completed a $1 million renovation of two signature meeting and event venues. Lakeside Ballroom with panoramic views of North Lake Tahoe now features floor-to-ceiling windows and large sliding doors that open directly to the Lakeside Patio. The ballroom also was outfitted with new carpet and paint, dark wood wall accents and a redesigned ceiling with warm-toned chandeliers. Water Gardens, a natural outdoor event venue filled with running streams and lush floral landscaping, was expanded to provide additional space for larger events and updated with new wood decking and a pergola for unique meetings and breakout sessions. The 422-room Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe has more than 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space.

Located in North Lake Tahoe, Resort at Squaw Creek is offering immersive, snowy activities for groups during the 2021/2022 ski season, including everything from sled regattas to snowshoe races. Here’s a closer look at some of the options.

Over the years, any corporate event planner can admit to spending countless hours researching the perfect venue or vendors for their gatherings. After attending or hosting hundreds of events, New York-based Daphne Hoppenot was no stranger to this research and was frustrated by its repetitive nature. However, it was planning her wedding in 2018 that pushed her to realize the lack of resources in the corporate events market compared to the wedding industry, and set out to see if other meetings and events professionals were struggling with the same problem.
