2015 is coming to a close, and the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board is reporting that 2016 will likely be a strong for overnight stays at its area hotels.

Recently released metrics from the STR Global, a worldwide tourism data-analytics firm, show 2015 saw improvements across multiple fields:

Study Shows High Support For Montgomery County Facility

The King of Prussia District and the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board recently released the findings of a study on the feasibility of a meetings and events center in Montgomery County, Pa.

Excitingly, the research shows the idea of a center with 125,000 square feet of space, including an exhibit hall, banquet hall and meeting rooms, is highly supported. The study also found that those in favor believed the facility would have a positive effect on the economic development of the county.

New Board of Directors President for VFTCB

The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board recently announced the appointment of Richard J. Odorisio to the president of the CVB’s Board of Directors.

Odorisio, currently the COO of the Valley Forge Hotel Management Association, is replacing Former president Michael Bowman, who is now the VFTCB president.
