• Wyndham Welcomes New VP

Today, Wyndham Group, based in Parsippany, N.J., welcome a new member to their team.

The organization hired Kathy Maher as senior vice president, global sales and revenue—an expanded role now in charge of the company’s global sales efforts.
 
Maher, who most recently served as senior vice president of revenue management, will be responsible for designing innovative sales strategies and leading a dynamic global team of more than 125 salespeople.

Her sales teams will focus on deploying new technologies, building faster commission payments, creating training initiatives and developing new incentive programs for meeting planners.

Prior to joining Wyndham Hotel Group Maher spent 12 years at Hilton Worldwide. There, she held various roles, most recently as vice president, revenue management, in the company’s Americas division. She also spent 15 years with Marriott International, Inc., in a number of sales leadership and marketing positions, including area director of market strategy, director of sales and marketing and cluster director of revenue management

Wilson Hotel Big Sky Residence Inn opened in mid-2019 and is Big Sky’s first major hotel. With a name inspired by Wilson Peak, one of the most prominent of the Spanish Peaks overlooking Big Sky, the hotel has 129 suites, 3,000 square feet of meeting space and a Town Center location just steps from shops, restaurants and nightlife.

 

As the spread of the novel coronavirus continues to put immense pressure on the U.S. health care system and the people who keep it running, the American Hotel and Lodging Association is working to connect hotels with health workers who are struggling to find housing.
